Parker Hannifin, Derby
The specialised service of Optimair was
requested to design an internal environmental scheme for hydraulic fittings
firm Parker Hannifin.
They required a full comfort control scheme for the new factory extension, including
adequate ventilation, to conform with Health and Safety Legislation; extraction
to remove excess heat and process fumes and a controllable climate for the
newly built offices.

Due to the nature of the manufacturing
process, it was necessary to design a system to prevent the migration of air
for the planting area to the other processing areas due to the corrosive nature
of the products used. It was also important to eliminate the risk of draughts
during both winter and summer months.
